Privacy policy
How Shiftx collects, uses and protects the personal data of anyone who gets in touch through this site.
Who processes your data
Shiftx, based in Leiria, Portugal, is the controller of the personal data collected on this site. For any question related to privacy, you can reach us by phone on +351 928 361 683.
What data we collect
We collect only what is needed to reply to whoever contacts us:
- Data you give us — name, company, email or phone, area of interest, topic and the message you write in the contact form, plus the language you were viewing the site in.
- Data collected automatically — IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and source of the visit, obtained through cookies and measurement tools.
What we use them for, and on what basis
- Reply to your request and prepare a possible proposal — on the basis of your consent and of steps taken prior to a contract.
- Contact you about the subject of the request, by email or phone — on the same basis.
- Understand how the site is used and improve it — on the basis of your consent, through non-essential cookies.
- Meet legal obligations we are subject to, in particular tax and accounting ones.
How long we keep them
We keep form data for as long as the commercial contact lasts and, after that, for as long as needed to answer any questions on the same subject. Data linked to contracts and invoicing is kept for the periods required by law. You may request deletion at any time, except where there is a legal duty to retain it.
Where contact requests are stored
Requests sent through the form are recorded in Clientsdesk, Shiftx’s own sales management system, where they stay linked to the handling of your enquiry. Access is restricted to the people dealing with it.
Third-party tools we use
With your consent, this site uses tools that process data about your browsing:
- Google Analytics — usage statistics for the pages.
- Microsoft Clarity — aggregated interaction analysis, including heat maps and anonymous session recordings, with the content of form fields masked.
- Google Ads — campaign measurement and ads shown to people who have already visited the site.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — campaign measurement and ads shown on Meta’s platforms.
- Google Tag Manager — manages the loading of the tools above, according to the consent given.
These tools belong to companies based outside the European Union and may process data in the United States, under the safeguards set out in the GDPR. None of them is activated before you allow it, and you can change your mind at any time in the cookie settings.
Who we share them with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers that help us operate — website hosting, email delivery, traffic measurement and advertising platforms — always bound by contract and only as far as necessary.
Your rights
As the data subject, you may at any time:
- Access the data we hold about you and request a copy.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request deletion of the data.
- Request restriction of processing or object to it.
- Request portability of the data to another organisation.
- Withdraw consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise any of these rights, simply reach us by phone on +351 928 361 683. If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and we apply technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or improper disclosure. No system is entirely impregnable, but we treat your data with the care we would want for our own.
Cookies
The use of cookies and measurement tools is explained in detail in the cookie policy.

This policy may be updated whenever the way we process data or the tools we use change. The date of the last update is shown at the bottom of the page.
