Nura
The app has a page of its own. This is where it explains itself to those who don’t know it yet — and where that curiosity turns into a first use.
About the project
Explaining an app is harder than explaining a service.
Nobody searches for “bioacoustic bird identification app”. People want to know what that song was. The hotsite has to bridge the curiosity that exists and the product that answers it — without demanding technical vocabulary from anyone.
The reading follows that order: one sentence carrying the whole argument, the numbers that give scale, the experience told in three moments, the two ways of asking nature, the profiles of who uses it and, at the end, the QR code that opens the app on the phone with nothing to install.
This hotsite lives alongside the app, which has its own page on this site. Two projects with different goals: one explains, the other serves.
Features
What the hotsite does.
One argument per screen
Each section makes one point and moves on, without repeating what has been said.
Numbers with context
Species, rarities, regions and confirmation rate — scale instead of adjectives.
The experience in three moments
You hear, you discover, you belong. It is the sequence of what happens out in the field.
Usage profiles
Those who explore, those who travel, those who watch birds and those looking for calm.
Entry by QR code
The first use starts with the camera pointed at the screen, with no app store.
Three languages
Portuguese, English and Spanish, for the nature tourism arriving from abroad.
Inside
From the sentence to the pointed camera.
Opening
One sentence is enough to explain it all
“Nature has always spoken. Now it can be read.” The whole argument in two lines, with the main action right below.
The experience
Numbers first, story next
The species, the rarities and the regions give scale; the three moments of the experience explain what happens to whoever uses it.
First use
The camera is the button
Instead of an install button, a QR code. Point the camera and Nura opens on the phone, ready to come along for the walk.
